Finitas seeks a Finance Controller to work with our client in Bristol Area. They are a leading tech firm focused on advanced solutions in communications and aerospace, known for its expertise in defense and space technologies.

Job Title: Finance Controller
Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: Up to £85k per annum
Hybrid
Active Security Clearance preferred.
Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, etc.)
- Strong experience in fast-paced close processes and audit facilitation.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX preferred.
- Defense experience with long-term manufacturing programs or large contracts preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and ERP skills.
- Adaptable with proven ability to manage shifting priorities and build strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead accounting and reporting teams, ensuring compliance and risk management.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits, intercompany billing, and monthly close activities.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, collaborate with leadership, drive process improvements, and handle ad-hoc reporting and projects.
