Job Title: International Financial Controller

Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 pa DOE

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Finitas are hiring for an International Financial Controller for a London Market Insurer to lead insurance and reinsurance close processes, enhance financial reporting, and manage global teams while collaborating with key leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead onshore and offshore teams in technical accounting, regulatory reporting, and analysis.
• Oversee Syndicate's financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial targets, reporting standards, and regulatory changes.
• Supervise reinsurance accounting, reporting, and collaboration with underwriting teams.
• Oversee Lloyd's financial statements, UK GAAP, IFRS filings, and managing agency processes.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate with the Global Head of Tax and external auditors.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified accountant with Lloyd's Market experience.
• Strong grasp of US/UK GAAP.
• 7+ years in accounting, including 3+ years managing teams.
• 5+ years in P&C insurance with Lloyd's market focus on technical accounting.
• Experience with offshore team management or cross-border collaboration is a plus.
