Finitas has teamed up with an insurance company to recruit a Financial Reporting Specialist. As an Accounting Specialist, you will handle financial closings, tax activities, audits, invoice processing, payments, and maintaining accurate AP and VAT records management information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval.
- Manage payment batches and maintain accounts payable and VAT records.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with financial closings, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Support performance monitoring and financial reporting activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in accounting/finance, studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- 1-2 years of finance experience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of general ledger and account reconciliations.
- Previous experience with accounting software is useful but not essential.
- Proactive and ability to identify process improvements.
- SQL/Python knowledge is a plus.
