Finitas seeks an FP&A Accountant to work with our client in Bristol Area. They are a leading tech firm focused on advanced solutions in communications and aerospace, known for its expertise in defense and space technologies.
The ideal candidate would handle financial forecasts, budgeting, operating plans, variance analysis, and special projects.
Job Title: FP&A Accountant
Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: Up to £75k per annum
Hybrid
Active Security Clearance preferred.
Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, etc.) with 5 years PQE
- Strong grasp of accounting and finance principles.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in government contracting or a related industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed forecasts and annual plans, managing financial reporting for the business unit.
- Conduct variance analysis and assess performance against targets.
- Develop financial models, forecasting tools, and dashboards to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee indirect rate modeling, departmental budgets, and support senior management presentations.
- Provide insights through financial analysis and manage reporting for internal program reviews.
