Senior Accountant

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 pa DOE
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Finitas are hiring for a Senior Accountant for a London Market Insurer to assist in delivering accurate, and timely financial information for them and related companies.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Experience in Solvency II, Regulatory, statutory and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP

Responsibilities:

• Produce UK GAAP financial statements, support the audit process, and ensure timely sign-off.
• Assist in preparing annual and quarterly Solvency II returns.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns within deadlines.
• Support quarterly balance sheet reconciliation and prepare analysis packs.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and other teams.
