Role: Solvency Reporting Accountant
Salary: £60,000 pa - £70,000 pa
Location: London
Finitas are paired with a leading specialty insurance group providing innovative risk solutions in search for a SII Reporting Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for SII reporting, including quarterly and annual templates, SFCR, and calculations for legal entities and group.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of insurance business and Solvency II regulations, including capital requirements
- Strong accounting expertise, particularly in UK GAAP and IFRS
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- ACA or equivalent professional qualification (desired)
- Experience in finance transformation projects or system changes
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate Solvency II submissions, ensuring consistency across teams.
- Lead SFCR production, managing timelines and external audits.
- Provide insights for regulatory reports and senior management reviews.
- Monitor regulatory changes and drive reporting improvements.
- Support Solvency II forecasting and analysis.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
