Description:

Finitas are actively engaged on an interim Syndicate Accounting role (day-rate). To support the businesses decision making, I'm looking to see a range of seniority levels and relevant experience, from assistant syndicate accountant through to senior syndicate accountant.

Reporting into the Syndicate Finance Manager, you'll support the teams by helping to prepare an array of financial records and books, with great attention to detail and within a fast-paced environment, to ensure compliance with syndicate reporting requirements (including syndicate returns).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare key Lloyd's and Syndicate accounting journals
• Support with key (syndicate) reconciliations, investment reconciliations and debt/creditor reconciliations
• Accurately and promptly submit annual and quarterly syndicate returns (regulatory)
• Help in the preparation of VAT returns and support with the implementation of new processes to ensure any Lloyd's reporting changes are adopted and delivered

KEY experience required:

• You MUST bring a level of QMA experience working within the Syndicate Accounting space (from assistant level through to senior)
• ACCA Qualification is preferred, however, candidates who're part qualified will be considered
• Syndicate Statutory Account preparation experience
