Data Governance Analyst
London - 3 days in the office per week
Salary £75,000 - £90,000 (DOE)
Finitas are working with a provider within the London Market Insurance who are looking for a Data Governance Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the management of all data. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of the data exists enterprise wide within the organisation and be the first line reviewer of the data to identify inaccuracies and inconsistencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure data record is accurate, complete and understood within the organisation across all systems group wide.
- Maintenance and dissemination of the data dictionary.
- Pro active in ensuring that all key data points are validated and accurate for use in reporting and downstream feeds.
- Fully investigate any anomalies, reporting and resolving as needed
- Ensure robust governance framework exists including reconciliations from source to target across all data and feeds.
- Report on key metrics and providing analysis of any thematic issues and concerns
- Horizon scanning for opportunities to enhance the data estate and capability of the business.
- Pro-actively take ownership for self-development and continuing professional development.
Essentials:
- Strong data background
- Lloyd's/London Market experience
- Ability to consider all downstream impacts of any data quality issues and concerns.
- Data literate individual with passion for reliability and accuracy of data
- Eligible to work in UK
